2. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email, password (encrypted), company name
- Information about your clients that you enter into the platform: name, email, phone, address
- Operational data: quotes, invoices, tasks, appointments, notes and exchanges you create
- Billing information, if you subscribe to a paid plan
3. Purpose of Collection
- Provide the service's features (client, quote, invoice, task, and calendar management)
- Generate AI content (quotes, chat answers) when you use those features
- Send transactional communications (e.g., quotes sent to your clients by email)
- Ensure platform security and proper functioning
4. Hosting and Transfers Outside Quebec
Your data is hosted and processed by the following providers, located outside Quebec (United States):
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Vercel — application hosting
- OpenAI — AI content generation
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Stripe — payment processing
These providers are bound by contractual confidentiality obligations. By using Devizo, you consent to this transfer of information outside Quebec, necessary to provide the service.
5. Data Retention
Your information is kept as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and data directly from your account Settings. This action is irreversible: your clients' information is anonymized and all access to your account is immediately revoked. Your quotes and invoices are retained in accordance with our legal accounting record-keeping obligations. You may also contact us at info@getdevizo.com if you have difficulty deleting your account yourself.
6. Your Rights
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Withdraw your consent to the collection of your information
- Obtain a copy of your information in a structured, commonly used format (portability)
- Request deletion of your information once the purpose of collection is fulfilled

7. Security
We apply security measures including encrypted communications, strict data separation between client companies, and role-based access control. No system is fully infallible.
8. Confidentiality Incidents
In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a serious risk of harm, we will notify Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information and affected individuals, as required by law.
9. Cookies
Devizo only uses cookies essential to the service's operation (maintaining your login session). No advertising tracking cookies are currently used.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. Any significant change will be communicated to you.
